As a resident Baltimorian on the board, I feel obligated to post something Super Bowl related. I don't care much for NFL football, a huge college football fan though, so the endless news coverage and hype is thankfully coming to an end today. The only upside is that I don't have to work tomorrow yet I get paid for what my boss refers to as "Super Bowl Recovery Day". No complaints here, so I hope every one else can enjoy some good food, good football and imbibe their favorite spirits!! Go Ravens?

Here's a great N'awlins show which was TC's last and will serve as my soundtrack for the day/night....

Lights out, baby!

I mean literally. The lights in the Superdome just went kaput.

Someone tweeted "This time it's the rich people who are stuck in the Superdome."

Now that's funny. Politically incorrect, but funny anyway.

Power company says their feed is fine, it's the customer's problem. Superdome says it was an outside feed that ent down. NFL isn't commenting.

Conspiracy theory: NFL cut the power to slow the Ravens so viewership wouldn't crash in second half. ;)

And now the NFL has taken Jacoby Jones' TD return record away from him.

Eddie “D” placed a call to the Italians in Norleans early-on in the 3rd quarter and gave the order;

“We need a 12th man on the field!”

Beyonce cut the power to the dome like she cut Destiny's child's mics during their set.

I wonder if she's capable of dancing with her knee's less than 3 feet apart. Imo, the half-time show pretty much sucked. What a hoe! lol

CBS crew is in full panic mode right now. I've never heard Jim Nantz sound so bored.

I would think so.... but since my multiple concussions playing high school football, uh, I can't remember ;)

...or just really don't care...

PS Ravens 30something over sf 29...I think.
Peace

Congratulations to Jim Harbaugh and the SF 49ers for another great season, Harbaugh took the 49ers to the NFC Championship game in his first season and the Super Bowl in his second, not to shabby!

Kaepernick is a talented athlete and todays lesson was important for both his and Harbaugh's personal growth. The $1.2 Billion + investment that's being made in Santa Clara will have it's share of Championship's and will most likely be a Super Bowl host city.

Thank God. Now the the Super Bowl can be played out doors, on grass every 10 years.. And with the West coast location you also get the sunlight in the first half and then the transition to night in the second. The way super bowls should be played damn it. Ha, I've turned into my father.
